クリスマス休暇の間、ロンドンでたくさんの美術館やエキシビションに出かけました。

残念ながら1月17日に終了してしまうのですが、テートモダンでは『POP LIFE』という素晴らしいエキシビションが開催中です。

特に好きだったのはキース・へリングのポップショップで、ここではTシャツ、バッヂやステッカーなどで彼のデザインを購入することができます。日本は村上隆によって上手にプレゼンテーションされていました。

同エキシビションの後は、テオ・ファン・ドースブルフによるエキシビションが開催されます。彼の作品がUKで展示されるのは初めてとなり、こちらは2月4日から5月16日まで開催されます。

休暇中はVictoria and Albertミュージアム内に新設されたMedieval&Renaissanceギャラリーと、改装されたJewelleryギャラリーも訪れましたが、ともにもしロンドンを訪れる機会があったらぜひ足を運んでみてください。一見の価値ありです。

そして今心待ちにしているのが、Royal Academy of Artsでもうすぐ開催のヴァン・ゴッホ展です。

と、ここまでご覧頂いたように、もしロンドンを訪れる機会があれば、いつだって見るものは沢山あります。

During the Christmas break I took advantage of the holiday by visiting many museums and exhibitions in London.

There is the fantastic Pop Life exhibition at Tate Modern which unfortunately finishes on 17th January.

I especially loved the Keith Haring Popshop where you could buy his designs as T-shirts, badges or stickers.Japan was presented very well by Takashi Murakami.

This exhibition will be followed by the Avant-garde exhibition of work by artist Van Doesburg whose work is being shown for the first time in the UK.

The exhibition is from 4th February to 16th May.

I also visited the new Medieval gallery at the Victoria and Albert museum and the recently refurbished Jewellery gallery which are both really worth a visit if you are in London.

I'm looking forward very much to the Van Gogh exhibition which is starting soon a the Royal Academy London.

So as you can see if you are visiting London there is, as usual, lots to see.
