Paris was so cold for fashion week this year.
In order to stay warm and keep my energy levels up, I often stopped by cafes for a quick hot chocolate.
Some were not so great, some were OK, but there was one that stood out from the crowd that I would have to say was the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my life. Located in the Marais in a little hidden courtyard behind Saint-Paul, I heard about the cafe, Comme a la Maison', from a friend.
It was so small and unassuming I was wondering if I had the right information.
A group of us went to try it, and the owner, Cathy, brought us a pot for the whole table.
The hot chocolate was like pure, melted chocolate and so rich it was like an explosion in my mouth.

今シーズンのパリコレ時期はとても寒かったです。
暖かく、元気になるために色々なカフェに寄って、
ホットチョコレートを飲んでいました。
あまりおいしくないのも、まあまあおいしいのもありましたが、
生涯で一番おいしいホットチョコレートを見つけました。
友達がおすすめしてくれたマレ地区にあるサンポールの裏あたりの中庭で、
ひっそり営業しているカフェ「Comme a la Maison」。
とても小さいカフェで、大丈夫かな？という雰囲気だったので...ちょっと不安でした。
４人で行くと、オーナーのCathyは全員用の大きいポットで出してくれました。
それは本物のチョコレートが溶けた感じで、口の中が幸せで爆発でした！

The hot chocolate was so good, we decided to go all out and try the gateau chocolat as well.
Again, the richest, most incredible flavour...
You spoon the custard over the cake to eat it...amazing!

こんなにおいしいホットチョコレートなので、
チョコレートケーキも食べたくなりました。
そして、また倒れてしまうぐらいおいしかったです。。。
写真のチョコレートケーキは、チョコレートケーキにあたたかいカスタードを直接かけて
食べてくださいって感じで出されました。

It was hard to find anywhere else in Paris where the chocolate tasted so good....

パリでもこんなにおいしいホットチョコレートは中々なかったですね。。。
